Week 2

After we tackle about network architecture components and different topology types, we proceeded to a new topic. This time, it focuses on network devices and their domains. In order to properly implement a suitable network, there are more things that needs considering such as what devices must be used and how will they be connected to each other. It is almost the exact same thing, but more specific. After insuring the information that will be stored in the network, the next thing to decide on is how the information goes though it. To accomplish this, appropriate devices and domains must be used to attain the ideal network to implement.

Week 1

During the first week, I had absolutely no idea what we are about to study in this course neither what will I learn from it. Since Sir Justin introduced the basic concepts of data networks to us, the course just got a whole lot interesting all of a sudden. We learned simple things concerning network architecture components, topology types and their importance to the establishment of a network. In addition to that, Sir Justin helped us to grasp the lecture even more by doing some exercises which will require us to design a network for a specific company according to enlisted business rules. The aim of the activity is to guide us on implementing networks in a cost-effective and efficient manner.
